V0.997: a steed, new classes, side quests, a Scrapbook and lots more
Floppatopia gets its biggest update yet: a fluffy steed, team moves, four new classes, post-game requests, a Scrapbook, personalities that really show, level-up celebrations and a calmer breakfast. Floppa Odyssey lets you explore levels freely, and Floppa Falls in Floppakart got fixed.
What's in this build
- Meet Biscuit the Puffback: a big fluffy steed joins in World 3. Pick its coat, fluff, saddle and accessories, let a hero keep it company in the stable, and it joins battles with Steed Dash and Steed Stomp.
- Team moves: Triple Rally (three friends strike together) and Group Hug (close friends save someone in trouble), with friends running in, leaping in front of each other and cheering.
- The inn grows with your whole roster: friends on the bench get rooms too, a second bedroom floor opens up, and the team now walks in through the front door at night and out again in the morning.
- Four new classes: Ghost and Mascot open in World 7, Painter and Bubble Blower after the story.
- Post-game requests: villagers with a "!" on the world maps ask for help, from beating monsters and champion bosses to escorts. Finish them all for a golden saddle.
- The Scrapbook: every monster you've beaten (poke them and pose with them), every dish, all the gear and the music.
- Personalities really show now: every personality has its own good and silly battle quirks, with a big callout when one happens, and its own way of asking for things, quarreling and enjoying outings.
- Level-up celebrations after a win, healing shakers that sprinkle over a hero, chunkier status cards and a swoosh into every battle.
- A calmer breakfast: big food pictures, a taste badge on every hero, and a fun reaction when they eat.
- A pause menu (Esc no longer leaves the road), the road bar shows split paths, hold Shift to hurry, and Continue shows your save and takes you right back.
- Floppa Odyssey: all shrimp in a level are out at once, tree crowns turn see-through when they block the view, snappier movement, and holding the cap button keeps the cap spinning.
- Floppakart: Floppa Falls has smoother hills, logs you can jump off, checkpoints you can't miss by accident, buoy lines on the open water, and ramp arrows now point the right way on every track.
