Floppatopia: cast your story, a bigger team and the Mountain Tower
Choose who plays every role in the story, Baron Blank included, and the rescued villagers join your team. There is a bench, a Class Hall, an animal friend, gear you can see, games and jealousy at the inn, bosses that get serious, and a post-game tower.
What's in this build
- Story cast: every role in the story (the Curator, the Fisher, the Warrior, the Trader, the Tinkerer, Ace, Zig and Baron Blank himself) can be an island villager or a character you make in the character designer, with their own name. Cast everyone at the start, decide each role the first time it shows up, or change the cast any time from the world map.
- The cast is everywhere: the Baron steals your cast's faces, so the monsters and bosses wear them, the cast appears in story scenes, towns and on the road, and the story uses their names.
- A bigger team: every villager you rescue from a boss joins you, up to eleven heroes. Four fight and the rest wait on the bench, still learning from every battle. Swap them in from Party on the map; Floppa always stays.
- The Class Hall: from the second world on, a hero can change class in town. They keep their level, and every class remembers its own rank and skills.
- An animal friend: in the second world a seal, an otter or a pelican joins as a fifth fighter that stands in front of the team.
- Gear you can see: every hero holds their class's weapon in battle, made of wood, stone, bronze, iron, gold or blackstone to match their gear.
- The inn's Game Corner: a game ticket every night (and sometimes in a treasure chest) for the prize wheel (coins, snacks, food, XP, friendship, an outing or the jackpot) or rock-paper-scissors against the innkeeper.
- Jealousy: a hero whose best friend got much closer to someone else may sulk and start a quarrel. Sharing a room usually fixes it.
- Bosses get serious: below half HP every boss powers up with a banner and a red glow, and hits harder for the rest of the fight.
- After the story: the Mountain Tower, a post-game island with the toughest monsters, Summit Camp, the Eagle's Nest and a giant tortoise with the old tower on its back.
